Activities

Spanish Studies Abroad 
I spent the Fall 2018 semester in Sevilla, Spain. I lived with a host family while taking 5 courses at the Center for Cross Cultural Studies.
Introductory Statistics PCA KSC Mathematics Peer Course Assistant/Tutor              August 2017-Spring 2018 Attended all class sessions as well as ran two study sessions weekly to assist students with assignments and projects.   Honors Student Council Class of 2018 Representative Spring 2015-May 2016 Discussed and planned events for the honors students such as the induction ceremonies.

El Indigenismo
This was a course that I took where we conducted an interview in Spanish with representatives for indigenous cultures at the United Nations complex in New York. This interview was translated into an article online to spread awareness about indigenous groups and their culture.
Interact Vice President Fall 2012-Spring 2014 Organized and participated in fundraising events to support the construction of houses in Talnique, El Salvador. Participated in and translated for the El Salvador Housing Project in the February 2014 excursion.
